Step 5: Creating a Basin

Basin Overview

The Basin module is the primary area where you will interact with the iTracker analysis data. Initially, the map will be blank. We will walk you through creating data points on the map. You can watch the video or read the steps below.

Placing Site Locations

Use the guide below to place Site Locations.

Accessing the Basin

To access a Basin select the view option in the Studies module.

Creating the Basin

To create a Basin select the greeen plus that will be on the right hand side of your screen.

Name the Site

Enter the desired name of the Basin.

Center the Map

In the Search bar, enter the location where the Study is being done. As you are typing, the search bar will auto-populate locations for you to select. Once you have your location, click on it.
